Many times I get emails from guys on a dating service and I can't get rid of them no matter what I do. They keep contacting me and contacting me, but then when we meet and I find myself interested in them, they seem to disappear. If I email them and say I enjoyed our date, I don't hear back from them. If I come right out and ask them what the reason is, the give the line "we are just too different" when nothing has changed from when we were talking as I am honest in my profile so why is all of sudden we are too different? They make you feel pushy if you persue them after the date although they are the ones that persued you first.

I have the same problem. I have no idea why it happens, and I have been very frustrated in the past by it. I have finally had to just accept that some times things just go that way, and if a girl, or in your case a guy, is going to ignore overtures, then that is what they want. Their loss.

Keep looking, be honest, and trust yourself. Don't let the fact that they want something else mean anything other than people are different.

One tip, though - give it a couple of days before you write back, and if you don't hear from them twice, just move on.

Men, you can't live with them and you can't live without them. It's always the same story with them. Instead of being up front they always have some type of game with them. Girl keep your head up. Start acting like them. Go for self and go out and have a good time. You have to look at these dates as a one night stand. Enjoy them while they are there and keep it moving in the morning. Good luck

Maybe its something physical about you that they don't like you did mention you meet them on dating services if that not the case another reason could be because thats just the way guys are

maybe prior to meeting you they have a certain expectation and then once they meet you they decide you didnt meet it.
also if you are to direct and forthcoming with some guys they can feel a little trapped and scared.
Try letting them pick up the pace after your first date that way you wont seem too eager

What a person is like in real life and what they're like on the internet are often 2 different things.

They are eager to make it a challenge.. something that they can work for.. something that they can use their manly instincts and prowness to overcome the will of the gal.. BUT if the gal caves in up front.. it ceases to be a challenge.

Why do women flirt with men until they show interest?

It's called "Maximizing your options". Put in work where it's needed, lay off where things are already going your way!

Honestly, it sounds like they like your profile better than they like you when they actually meet you. Maybe they don't like your personality. But don't feel too bad, I have similar problems.
