There were books written claiming to represent those times, but they are not part of the canon. There were second century and later "gospels," many of which are technically called pseudopigrapha, that is, false author. These books attached the name of a noted figure from the early church in hopes that their work might gain acceptance. None of these books are of sufficient character as to rise to the level of canonicity.

The gospel messages are vague on family and early life to prevent people from focussing on these issues and missing the more important stories of Jesus' ministry, death, and resurrection.

He continued doing what he was doing at age 12. He was being about his fathers business and learning how to present it to the people to do what he was sent to do.

How many people know the Old Testament? How many people know the birth and death year of Abraham [ Jesus said before Abraham was, he was. John 17:3,5,24;
Jesus was with God before the world was ]. Each person in the bible has a story and a birth and death date that puts every thing in its place and time.

What place and time was the story of Jesus said to be 2006 years ago since he was born, how old would Adam have been when Jesus was born?

What time period for the Judges, the kings, Jonah or Isaiah. It takes a human a long time to learn all the things Jesus was interested in having them understand.

Heb.9:14,15; Jesus died that we have the rest of the bible. Heb.2:9,14,16; He has the right to destroy Satan. 1Cor.15:22-28 to destroy death. 2Pet.2:13; Isa 65:17; 66:1,22;Rev.21:1-5 to make a new heaven and a new earth and have all as perfect as it was before Eden, and all inhabitants perfect, for his Father.

Verse 17: And Jesus then went with his father Joseph and they made a new set of chairs for Samuel's bar mitzvah...

We don't know why those are omitted, but they don't appear to be critical parts of the story. Many biographies don't give you a year-by-year outline of the entire life - they just hit the high points leading to the end result.

Good question! He was a member of various schools of thought! He was a pupil of many different orders of higher religious learning! Egypt had many different schools of thought, and one that he was a member in is in Heliopolis more properly termed "The City Of The Sun". Have you ever seen picutures of Jesus with a rays of sun behind his head? Come on, just co-incidence? Anyway, he was also a student of schools in India, Greece, and in Jerusalem! That sect was the Essene.

this was the issue many have been asking about.... and here's the answer (my opinion of it, anyway)...

the bible were all written in ancient scrolls, that is verily true. during ancient times, all of what was written was hidden because christians were being persecuted. anyone who were in possession of such were quickly put to the death. to protect themselves, they hid some on caves, on their lands, under their homes... when christians were finally accepted all these scrolls were then recovered. however there were some (some people entrusted with those scrolls) who actually died and thus their hidden scrolls were nowhere to be known by anyone. on this aspect, it is presume that those years that was in your query are those encrypted in those hidden scrolls and still unrecovered at this time. though there were some who believe it was still recovered but the bible was already in circulation and to add it or insert was too late... thus these scrolls are hidden within the vatican's library... to be studied by the scholars and seculars there and to preserve it's messages....

hope this is enough for you...

I believe there was probably a history of this at some point but the people who formed the Bible into what it is today either didn't think it was important or lost it.
