Yup. Dr. Joseph Murphy "The Power of You Subconscious Mind", Is a real classic. There is a strange little booklet called "It works", James Allen, "As a Man Thinketh". If you go to:

I haven't really read many books on the subject. I find it very interesting and very possible within the laws of modern science. My belief is that these abilities can be accessed by parts of our brain that our not normally used. We have either A) not evolved enough to use these abilities more naturally, or B) we simply have not learned to access these abilities more naturally. I have had some experience with precognition, and with what could be considered a metaphysical state of the mind itself. I am certain we exist in more than 3 dimensions, and metaphysics is basically manipulating things in higher dimensions to have an effect in our normal 3 dimensional space.

I think you have a grave misunderstanding of what metaphysics is. It's a branch of philosophy, or science, if you will, dealing with causation.
One does not practice metaphysics any more than one would "practice" chemistry.
Perhaps you meant some other word.
