age usually does not matter with IQ, they say it should be in the same ball park no matter what your age is when you were tested... 117 is above average, anyone know what forrest gumps was in the movie? like 65? yea your double as smart as a person who who had a movie about them so look at it that way
or maybe his IQ was 85...? either way your tons smarter and above average

IQ does not really increase with age. IQ tests , when graded, use your age as a factor in arriving at your IQ. Some of the questions on the test might be tough to answer for the average 12 year old but a genius 12 year old might answer correctly. On the very same test some questions might be easy for the average 40 year old but someone with a lower IQ may not answer correctly.The grading scale factors in the difficulty of the question and the age of the person tested. 117 is around average. So your good. If you are 117 at 12 it won't necessarily go up just because you get older.

100 is average. 130 qualifies for Mensa, that's the top 2% so 117 is good. You have all the brains you need to do anything you want in life. Don't get hung up on a number.

It's well above average girlie! put it this way, the average IQ for a 1st year uni or college student is 120....So your only 3 points away from 18-20 year olds who are already smarter than average, if that makes sense

IQ is age independent. 100 is average. You can decide if 17 above average is good enough for you.

Heck yeah that's good, they say that Hitler's IQ was like 100 something and he was considered a genius. That's -really- good your IQ is that high, congrats. :)

Don't worry about your IQ. It's just a number. Study, keep your grades up, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you have trouble with something.
Honestly, the number is relatively meaningless.
