Take its temperature. Since you can't ask your dog to put the thermometer under its tongue, you have to put it up the butt.

Pretty much the same way you tell if you have a fever. You can take their temp rectally, or it it's a bad enoug fever you'll feel it on the dog (try feeling around the belly area). Hope your dogs ok.

take the dogs temp. a dogs normal temp is anywhere from 100.5 degrees to102.5 degrees. Some people think that if a dog's nose is hot and dry it has a high temp but all it means is that the dog has a dry nose.

They will be listless, letharagic, not want to run or play. They will feel hot to the touch. I'm pretty sure that their nose will be warm.

his ears will be VERY warm and he will be very droopy acting-tail and head down, laying around, not hungry. His eyes may also be slightly glassy if it is a high fever, their normal temp is 100.5-102.5*F
