The fly was dead as soon as it hit the very strong acid in your stomach. It is already completely digested and the small amount of residual left has already or soon will leave your body.
Many people of many cultures voluntarily eat insects as part of their cuisine. Much of the orange juice we drink is allowed to have certain numbers of insect parts in it. This is almost certainly not the first time your stomach has had insect parts in it.
Kinda gross to think about at first, but just put that into the equation of what you know about food, wrap your brain around it, and soon it won't bother you much.

Yes, probably already has and it's offspring are laying eggs right now - of course the maggot stage could be a worry, they can get really hungry. Best solution is to drink lots and lots of beer.

why did you eat the fly with your brussel sprouts?you should have saved it for dessert.if your dumb enough to not know the acid in your "tummy" could kill a fly,let alone the travel down your esaphagus(you prabably don't know what that is)then your dumb enough to believe your full of MAGGOTS by now and need to call 911.

just swallow a spider to catch the fly . idon't know why you swallowed a fly. perhaps youll die.
don't worry your stomach acid is one of the most devastating acids on the planet. the fly doesn't stand a chance. the only thing that protects you is the snot that lines your stomach. you'll be fine.
