Are we better off now, or worse? Are we doing them right? What have we learned about ourselves? How can we improve our world without violence? Can we , as human beings, work together to stop this senseless way of acting?

The loss was great for the nation, but we have learned valuable lessons. We are reminded as we go to airports, sports events,
We try to keep one another safer by watching one another in crowds for strange acts or packages. I think we try to work together, there are exceptions to this. We must stop or at least slow down terrorist or their group will continue to grow.
Other than the memorials, flying flags at half mast & moment of silence, I do not think we can do much more for victims - their families did receive settlements - since we were not invloved in the terrorist act, I think the nation has been completely fair to the victims. The terrorist nations owe apology.

That was truly a national tragedy. Firefighters and police officers go to work every day knowing that they could be injured or killed due to the nature of their jobs. There was a firefighter killed in New Jersey yesterday but you can guarantee his widow will not recieve $5 million dollars. Soldiers fightling for our freedom die all too often yet their families do not receive millions of dollars in death benefits. I feel sorriest for the average Joe and Jane who went to work on an ordinary Tuesday and never went back home.

The only way we can even attempt to try and make things better is to bring the people responsible for this terror attack down. We have to continue to go after them and see that they are punished for their actions. We also have to send the message that if they try to kill any other innocent Americans, they will be punished.
