I've been looking and looking and all I find is either artists from P.R. or touristic places but nothing on poverty.

There is not much poverty in Puerto Rico anymore. There is a low class, but people no longer live in dirt houses without electricity or water. This article gives you information about the actual poverty rate in Puerto Rico and a few pictures. http://ejm.lsc.gov/EJMIssue8/

there's still A LOT of poverty here, many people with electricty/water for months and people with nowhere to live. it's really sad
