i also want to know around how much for the ceramic braces. i am just getting the spaces between my top teeth closed no crowded teeth have plenty of room to move teeth. the reason i'm asking is because my insur will only cover me until i'm 23 i'm 21 now and want to go ahead and start orthodontics. my wisdom teeth will put me behind and take up needed funds for orthodontic x-rays and the sectional cleaning i need before braces want to just get them removed when next year starts with the 1200$ allowance

they wanted to take my wisdom teeth out and I kept them. I still have them and they have never been a problem. when they take them out they have to take part of the bone in the jaw out too. it does not make sense to me to weaken the jaw especially when these teeth are not causing a problem in the first place.

by the way, I am over 25 and I am glad I kept them. and I also had braces after they came in. they were no problem. I still have them and I like having them. my jaw grew to accomondate them.I also used to drink a lot of milk. like I said before I am glad I still have them.
most people have an overcrowding situation with their teeth.I did not.

If you did NOT already have four teeth removed for your braces, I'd say it is probably a good idea to get those wisdom teeth out sooner rather than later. Even if you DID have some extractions for braces, it might still be a good idea.

I've never seen anyone turn 25 and say, "I sure wish I still had my wisdom teeth."

Bear in mind that this is a general comment and not specific information for you, as I have never seen you or your teeth.

i don't know anything about ceramic braces. despite the limited time and funds, you need to go ahead and have the wisdom teeth removed if they have not already come in. if they are in, don't worry about it. if not, they will crowd your teeth and mess up the orthodontic work.

you shouldn't miss work due to getting braces. if you get your wisdom teeth out, you may miss a day.

Ceramic braces should be about 5k (or around there) and dont get your wisdom teeth removed unless your ortho says so. Dont add unnecessary pain!

Most people end up having to have their wisdom teeth pulled at some point. If you got the insurance now, might as well do it. Not that painful, just depends on who you ask I guess.......
