I was stressed out about a broken tooth which I just recently just filled. My tongue kept rubbing against it so to keep my mind of it I chewed a peice of gum for about 3 hours. Then it felt like my teeth was out of place.

I researched about my problem and it said that I might have TMJD, but my mouth doesn't have any pain or anything, just a feeling that my teeth is misplaced. . . Wait I just checked and my teeth did get misplaced, or the upper jaw just got moved more to the right.
What do I really have though?
Is it serious?
And can my jaw be rightly placed again after my problem is fixed?

Just to be sure, here are some of the symptoms and problems I have;

Stress
Teeth feels wrong when clenched
Constant grinding of teeth (I'm trying hard to stop it)
Constant clenching of teeth (Also trying hard to stop)

Not really any pain, popping sounds, locking of the jaw and etc, so it might not exactly be TMJD, I hope.

Please help me. Im so stressed out right now it feels like I want to die.

*Update*
My filling isn't the one causing the feeling of misalignment in my teeth (the mis alignment feeling is in both of the furthest molars in the back of the mouth).

The reason why my teeth feel unaligned is because that my upper jaw's left molar suddenly changed locations in less then a day!

How could that be?

I had one just like this they just had to file it down my dennist didn't even charge me for the vist took all of 10 mins .

You could also have a mis- alliegment as well of the jaw but see the dennist first get the tooth filed down . I know I have TMJ and it always worse after I see the dennist. You can also check out chrioweb.com to get some ideas on how to fix this if it is TMJ .
My husband who is a chrioprator deals with this all the time.

Whoa! Relax, here. Your repaired tooh just needs a little touch-up; it's not aligning right with the opposite tooth. Should be just a quick plastic strip impression and about 30 seconds of polishing.

Go back to the dentist - won;t take a minute.
