You know what I find interesting... very few Young Earth Creationists go for the genetic engineering angle. If you believe the bible, Humans lived hundreds of years and had superior bodies and minds. If this was the case, scientific progress should have been staggering. They had a couple thousand years before the flood, and the vast bulk of our current technology has come about in roughly that amount of time. Plus, think about what a 900 year old Einstein could have done.
So you could naturally assume that dinosaurs could have been the result of genetic experiments run amok. Which could have been one of the reasons God sent the flood.
But then you'd have to actually Believe the bible, which is pretty foolhardy to begin with. Plus you'd have to ignore the mountain of physical evidence against this theory. Still... I am surprised I don't see this explanation more often.

First of all God didn't make sh1t. Evolution and natural selection made Dinosaurs.
In the 'bible' 'god' made the Earth and all living things in 7 days. Last time i heard the story Dinosaurs weren't on any of the days. And as for having a rest on the seventh day, What a load of crap, I mean what self respecting ultimate being needs to have a rest after all wasn't he supposed to have made the universe?
Doesn't say anything about that and how long it took for that now does it? Your answer is NO.
So no god just natural selection and evolution. Oh and the millions of remains and scientific research to prove it.

In the book of genesis there is a great debate because of the book of Enoch. The fallen angels in the book of Enoch "Blaspheme" against the animals of the earth. There are those who believe this means a form of genetic manipulation which led to the rise of dinosaurs. God destroyed the earth with a flood because of all the things the fallen angels were teaching men, along with having sex with human women and they gave birth to giants "men of old renown", which also gives evidence to the source of much mythology.

From God in the first instance , coming up from the steam vents from with in the earth as organisims, to life , growth ,evolution and extinction under the sun, due to what ever. From dust they came , and to dust they returned
