I was working at a mall when they had a promotional event for Tab Energy. Of my two co-workers and a friend, I was the only one who liked it, though in fairness, it's sweetened with aspertame, and I'm the only one who drank (and liked) diet sodas.
I thought it tasted a little like very fizzy, slightly tart diet watermelon soda.
My co-workers on the other hand, said it tasted like grass.
I would say, though, if you don't like diet soda, you probably won't like it.
