i am torn between following the code of ethics and my happiness. people say do not date your friends', in my case cousin's, xbf..but i am really happy with this certain person if i hang out with him. we have chemistry and i think the feelingis mutual..what do you think? as of now i am supressing my feelings..don't wanna entertain it cause i might be ruining not only friendship..but trust and my happiness. please help.

Well, personally I don't think it is okay. But that all depends on how your cousin takes it and whether she thinks that it is okay. So, I suggest you talk about this with your cousin in order to see how she is feeling about all this. However I personally can't even see how you found him attractive, the mere fact that he was with your cousin would make him so not attractive. I mean your cousin kissed him, probably had sex with him...and now you want to date him. Sounds like y'all r keeping it all in the family! I say you look above and beyond, there is someone else out there in the world! I say leave your cousin's x man alone. Besides isn't he your cousins X for a reason. I mean what's gonna happen, is he gonna tell you the details of you and your cousins relationship and why it didn't work out. I cringe at the thought of it and it's not even me.

go with your feelings...if you are feeling the need to supress your feelings and you arent even with him...then you know it isnt right....if you do decide to get with him the guilt will ruin any chance at a good relationship you could have with him.....it may hurt for awhile but you will get over it...
