No. The filter is made with cellulose acetate. This is made from wood pulp and cotton. Fiberglass is made from spun glass, which is chemically Silicon and Oxygen SiO2. The filter is the same whether its menthol or non-menthol cigarettes.

You are likely not old enough to remember but Kent came out with the Micronite filter. In its days this was a big deal, well the Micronite filter contained asbestos. No on ever said cigs were health food.

There are more then 100 poisons in the majority of cigs smoked today. It is so hard to understand why people pay 1000's of dollars per year to poison themselves. It would be cheaper and faster to just buy a gun.
