I like excellent grooming...Ultimate confidence...and a guy that adores women and makes them feel special. I personally would like someone outdoorsish and sporty, Hiking , swimming , adventurer type who is also social.
Humphrey Bogart, Spencer Tracey, Tom Cruise...are all examples of not too good looking men that could pull the chicks.

Your 17, Hormones are going bonkers. I will tell you this "I'm 31", after Highschool, college, life is drastically different. Everything you knew will change. Dating takes the biggest change. Everything that mattered in high school IE status, looks, clicks, don't matter. Most of that fades away a few years after school, then you will find yourself looking for someone who makes you happy, and not what's appealing to your friends or classmates. Enjoy your younger years and don't worry about the opposite sex as much, when your not looking, that's when relationships present themselves. Just be confident in yourself, not cocky. Treat your dates well, the word will spread to her friends which will land you other dates, "if that does not work out"! You could be the ugliest guy in the world, but if you can talk the talk, make her smile, and have your stuff together, that's what she will find attractive. I will give you a piece of advice I've learned the hard way. Once your 18+, don't date people that live with mommy and daddy still. You will regret it!

Be yourself. It depends on your purpose in dating. If your looking for a spouse/ significant other and you and her are mature to co-habitate then act the part and don't over on the "first impression". Most mature people can read through it. But if your looking for a "booty call" then go all out on the first impression and slightly over do the cologn.

My looks score about 3.2 on most dating sites yet I succeed all the time. So it must be something other than looks. Eh?

Bathe and shave. Be well groomed and don't overdo the cologne or aftershave. Be polite and compliment the woman on her eyes or some other feature. Don't be loud or vulgar.
