I got this from my daughter doc. No hot showers only luke warm because of the histamine in your body, hot water releases it causing the swelling and itching, use gentle soap like Dove unscented. Stay away from fragrances. Use All clear laundry soap. No fabric softeners, nothing that has fragrance or dyes in it. after showering don't dry yourself just damp dry leaving skin moist and putting lotion on right after. Get lotions like, Aquaphor, Eucerin, Cetaphil that has not fragrance or dyes and don't use water or alcohol based lotion. Protect your skin when going out side not matter what the weather is like use a mild sunscreens. Watch for dust mites, mold and bacteria in the air this can also cause it to be an irritant. Hope this helps.

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.
I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.
And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.
And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

Cure psoriasis starting today - even if your doctor or dermatologist says "it's impossible!"
I've just followed a guide called psoriasis free for life that completely cured me of this debilitating and embarrassing disease in less than a month!
Remember, this will not only treat the symptoms that you do see:
the red, inflamed itchy skin.
The silvery scales that seem to erupt for no reason.
The burning or bleeding that occurs around your joints.
The cracking, oozing and painful patches on your skin.
But it also treats the underlying cause of psoriasis - the part you don't see - the actual immune system deficiency that causes these itchy patches to appear and scale over.
For more information, check here : http://Psoriasis.naturallysaver.com .
You can definitely get back your life, your confidence and your self esteem!

You can use Dr Wheatgrass Recovery Cream or Spray. It's cream/spray derived from organically grown wheatgrass. These products work wonders and is very effective. Dr. Reynolds invented the product and has been successfully treating this patients since 1995 with these products. As far as allergic reactions go, this product is made from wheatgrass, the same thing that bread is made of. It's also gluten free. I believe it's approved for people of all ages (from infants to adults) because it's a natural product. You can check out his website for more information and testimonials.

Well their is really like nothing out their to rid yourself of this is will come and go but ive have something called excema which is pretty much the same! but newayz some things to do is to go tan im being absolutely serious when your in the sun it will clear up most everything especially the face. Something to watch out for people who have skin problems such as yours on your face you should NEVER use any kind of scrubs such as an acne scrub (found out from experience) it will actually make the skin swell up and become very red and itchy...I use a cream called Eucerin cream its sold at all drug stores for about 13$ a container its none comegenic so it won't break you out from added scents and it heals up my excema and its for psoriasis as well...But i know its an ongoing battle with skin problems so i feel for ya if you ever wanna talk my e-mail is oddlots91@yahoo.com Hope I was some help!

I am an MD. The best non-pharmacologic remedy is sunlight, and/or tanning beds/UV rays. It really works.

Psoriasis is a chronic condition for which homeopathic remedies can provide a measure of relief. The elbows and knees and the area behind the ears are often affected by this condition, which is characterized by dry, flaking skin. The pain of psoriasis is usually not great, but if the following remedies do not bring relief within a month’s time, individuals should consult a qualified homeopathic practitioner.
Arsenicum album 30c: In cases where the affected area is noticeably hot and sufferers generally feel rather chilly, this remedy may provide relief. Scratching will tend to increase the heat and burning sensations. This remedy is ideal for long-standing, chronic cases with people who tend to be very tidy, orderly, and fussy. Arsenicum album 30c can be taken once a day for three days, then once weekly for three weeks.
Graphites 6c: This remedy will help people with psoriasis in cases where the affected areas tend to crack and secrete a sticky, yellow fluid. These cracks itch intensely and often affect the areas behind the ears. The hands, especially the palms, may also be affected. The skin will be generally unhealthy, with a tendency for all wounds to become infected. Graphites 6c can be taken three times a day for up to three weeks, then reduced as the condition improves.
Sulphur 6c: This remedy suits people who are generally warm-blooded and whose symptoms are aggravated by extremes of temperature and by contact with water. The affected areas will itch and burn and will also be aggravated by the heat of the bed. This is often the best remedy to try if no better match can be found, as it can start the healing process. Sulphur 6c can be taken three times daily for up to three weeks, then reduced as symptoms improve.
Petroleum 6c: People needing this remedy will have a worsening of their symptoms during the colder winter months. Besides the usual flaking skin, the fingertips will often split and bleed. Petroleum 6c can be taken three times daily for two to three days, then once daily until improvement is noted.
