I like the 'thank you' card idea. Tell her how well you are doing now and thanks to her, you are safe now. Explain that you felt her doing God's work...and it states in the bible she will be rewarded in heaven.

Where there is a will there is a way. I think it is great that you feel you owe her, and you do have a few options:
1.you could send the lady a thank you card---find out what her last name is and what her apt. number is, and mail her a card. If you can't find that out, go to the lease office of that apartment complex and ask them to forward the card.
2.You could go to the apartment complex' lease office, explain that she is a friend of yours who moved there--and in all likelihood will she receive a call from her lease office that someone wants to talk to her---she has the choice to decline or to accept. In both situations would you not be embarrassed somehow.
Or, you could tackle it head on: you find out where she lives, buy some flowers, knock on her door and invite her for dinner.
The point in this is that once you see the woman again, you might feel embarrassed again--but you will be surprised on how people love it when one comes to thank them-and for you it would be a closure to a nasty chapter.
Good Luck

Maybe you could send her a very nice, well-worded Thank You card or a letter if you're not ready to see her at this point. I know it will make her very happy to know she helped someone when they really needed it out of kindness and without motive - and it will make you feel good to know she knows this.
Women understand. Don't feel embarassed about it. She knows it could just as easily been her in the same situation...
Good luck to you! :)

Your best bet is to stay away from your ex, but u should write your friend and meet her for dinner in town somewhere.
Dont let this friend be a back stabber that will report everything u tell her back to your ex.

Thank her for the help she provided. Why should you feel embarrassed? Since she stayed with you and helped, it seems she understands what it is to be emotional. Send a thank you card. You don't have to see her in person if you don't want to.

You should show your appreciation. Send her a thank you card. Don't let kind deeds go unrewarded. Don't le t your ex make you be rude, ungrateful and unkind.

I'm sure she doesn't expect anything in return, I can understand that you would be embarassed and I would just leave it at that unless you really want to be friends with her and visa versa.

If you needed a Satin pillow to cry on ...she was there...if you needed a Satin sheet to lay on...she was there...now it's time for you to gain control of your own emotions and selfesteem and climb that ladder of success.
