I detect in your question a hint of disgust with the US effort to apprehend the radical followers of Islam that intend to do America harm. Since you didn't elaborate, I will have to assume you don't like what is going on at Guantanimo Bay's detention facility.
Well the treatment there cannot compare to the treatment muslims give to muslims in muslim nations. See the article below that outlines how the Iraqis are now treating their own in Abu Ghraib prison. The prison was turned over to the Iraqis after the panties on the head scandal.

I am sure someone was being beaten, they were screaming like they were being hit," the witness reported. "I felt scared, I was asking what was happening in the terrorist section.
"I heard shouting, like someone had a hot iron on their body, screams. The officer said they were just screaming by themselves. I was hearing the screams throughout the visit."
