It's a pain, but blow dry while your holding the strand straight with a brush - chemical hair straighteners have way too many cheicals - it will damage your hair.

My sister tried the straighteners some yrs ago and they do damage, but she also used to wash & dry then lay it on ironing board and put a towel on top and used a med. hot iron onit and it works. She looked real funny with her hair layed out like that but she hated her hair being so curly.

Go to your local pharmacy/chemist and ask the if they have the "3 Step Hair Straightener" This product will stragihten your hair for three months without all the damaging blowdrying or hair straighteners. :)

you could get it chemically done at a salon, or while you're blowing it dry use a round brush and pull sections of it through the brush as you dry it. also get products that say straightener on it to help.
