They are the Westboro Baptist Church (Fred Phelps). Along with "Thank God for Dead Soldiers" they have a very cruel godhatesfags.com site. They are racist and also hate other Christian groups.
Along with your opinions on them, how is it possible for them to use the Bible as their main support? They are very sure in their interpretation of God's Wrath. . . (as other Christians are very sure about God's love). Since everyone is using the same text, how can the discrepancy be this wide? I'm not trying to ally other Christians with them at all; I want to know what you have to say/think about it?

but they use the same argument (satan using scripture to tempt and mislead). they state that Christians who don't agree with them are false--using the bible as satan would and leading the world into evil and sin. how can they be proven right or wrong when they use the same scriptures to condone and encourage their extreme actions that other Christians use to support their faith?

A lot of Christian sects use the Bible to their own convenient way of understanding. Thus corrupting the true meaning of what the Bible really means.

People with good intentions sometimes go to far and produce bad results. There are many who twist the Bible everyday for their own selfish reasons or they will take a single line of scripture from the Bible to try to prove this or that to be true. If each so called Christian spent as much time working on their own life as they do others this world would most likely be a much better place.

Wow....are you kidding? That's astonishing. Satan can disguise himself even as an angel of light. Looks like he's hanging out in a baptist church these days. That's just plain evil...and certainly not biblical to spew such hatred. The bible says that you will know a Christian by their love. So what does that say about these people?

I think that historically, many people have misinterpreted the Bible and have used God/Christianity as a basis to hate people. Even such heinous groups as the KKK burned the cross so that "Jesus would see it and show favor with them". This is just sick and appauling. The people who protest soldiers' funerals are right along those same ranks. Using Christianity as a basis to hate people is just plain wrong, and I'm sure most good Christians would agree. Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors!

I think that they don't have the Love of Christ within their hearts. If they did, they wouldn't behave the way they do.
Anyone can twist the Bible to their own devices. Even Satan used Scripture to tempt Jesus. That's why we must seek the true Church that is protected from faulty dogma by the Holy Spirit.

Those funeral protesters are not christians or at the least are very misguided christians..
BTw, Satan's best tools are misguided christians.
These protesters are among the most evil and are no different than nazi's or terrorists...
I have every intention to be armed at future funerals in case these or similar protests happen.

My opinion on all of these MOTHER F*&KERS is they should eat sh!t and die!!! Let me tell you how I would go about disposing the world of these ungrateful losers. I would go to one of there little gatherings and make sure every single one of them was there. Then i would lock all the doors to whatever facility they were in and tear gas it. Once they were immobilized I would tie them all standing up against the wall. The adults at least. Then I would wait until they awoke. Then I would pick up one of there babies and say now whos is this cutie pie?? One of the doomed bitches says, " Thats my baaaabyy...sobbing" . I would then say well, hmmm....thank god for dead gi's hmmm....well how about thank god for dead babies of the pieces of sh!t who come to marines funerals saying that crap. Wham....slammed the babies head into a wall. This would proceed until all of the adolecents were taken care of. Then time for the adults.. :) hmmm... where will my mind take me today.......i think first I would untie one of the guys just to make my statement and let all the other ones know they don't stand a chance against me. I would beat the dog piss out of this guy kick him in the face over and over, wake him up with smelling salts and then pick him up and ask whos husband is this... again a woman says " Thats my husband aaaa.....sobbing....!!! I would walk him over there to the ***** and put his face six inches in front of hers and blow his brains all over her face by shooting him in the back of the head with my .45 Then I would buckwheat a few people. AKA empty the clip of my .45 up there @ss. then i would beat some of them for fun, cut a few tongues out for all the BS that they have said against Marines and other amred forces personell. Then I would torch the place and tape record them screaming for my own persoanal amusement. This is the only way to deal with these kinds of people. They deserve to die because the do not respect the people who are over there fighting and dying to protect that amendment that they are so blatently using: freedom of speech. FU&K those people and if anyone has a problem with what I just got through saying, let me know and I will leave you were I find you.
