Nevermind the you people. You work harder because you developed work discipline and they didn't. That's like a priest asking his follower how to pray...

I have a Master's degree, and been to many Univerities. I noticed that 90% of an instructor's test comes from class notes. Take really good class notes. Right after class just read over the notes to recap what the teacher talked about. Only study the text book material or chapters and sections covered in class. I've seen people who studied the wrong material because they didn't come to class, and they spent to much time studying material that was not on the test fail the exam. Never get behind, read class notes and sections covered daily. Once you get behind, you are behind for the entire semester. Put together a study schedule, dedicate a certain amount of time for each class daily. After reading a chapter, create an outline of what you read, recap each day. Well Good Luck!

If you young people are saying that you work too hard then you are doing the right thing. I'm 30 and returning to college to work on my degree and I work real hard at it. Young people are less immature than us and can't always see the importance of education, especially since they have parents paying for them.

I have been to school as both a traditional "younger" student and later as an older non-traditional student. Older students are far better studiers. Maybe you are not working TOO hard, you are just working, which is more than a lot of them do.
