Rectal temp is about a degree higher than oral. But you don't have to worry unless its over 101, recatally. If you're still worried, call the pediatrician.

Is the toddler showing any signs and warning signs of soreness or rashes or no longer peeing/pooing or no longer eating or great warm? toddler's temps often run bigger than adults, so if she's eating and pooping and peeing usually i does not undertaking. in case you're nonetheless great disturbing, you are able to continuously call your surgeon, that's what they're there for. good success!

yea it is a little higher, normal is 98.6, and I wouldnt worry unless it is more that 100. give him baby tylenol and keep him cooler. just in a diaper, but not too cold if he shivers, it makes them try to heat up again.

99.6 If it goes over 101, then take him in. Otherwise just give him tylenol and keep him comfortabale until it comes down. Push fluids.
