That is actually a really good question. I am sure that there are genuine people on the computer, because I have met a lot of them in person after talking to them. Yes, I know, how dangerous right? but, no not really. It is pretty safe. It just depends on where you find people i guess. I have met some fake people on the internet but mostly I have met real ones. So, my advice to you on this venture is to treat the internet as you would real interactive situations. The things that people say on here can be just a bunch of lies...but if you were interacting with them you should be able to pick out those lies, so work on your people skills and catch the fake people in the act.

I'm a genuine person. I hate posers that come on the computer and places like this. I wish we could all trust that everyone's being completely honest on the computer so that maybe we could find someone we really like and not have to worry about it being some weird 40 year old guy trying to nail a 15 year old girl.

Most people are honest and law abiding in this cyber world. It takes a certain level of intelligence to explore out in cyber space and have the savvy to really enjoy the many venues information that is available. However, in the personals and dating websites it brings out a lot of lonely, otherwise shy, cowards and perverts that prey on innocent victims that will listen to their line of BS. The Internet in most cases is a venue for those group of cowards, perverts and lonely ones to excise their fantasies.

There are genuine people on the computer, but, because it is dangerous to meet them in person, I consider it just fantasy.

I'm genuine, i wish more people would use a real picture of themselves so it feels like your actually talking to someone other than a animated person.

There are lots of real people here. It is just some people are in a fantasy world. I have personally met some really great people here. They are very real

some are genuine and some are fake its a case of weeding out the creeps and the nice take your time lol and have some fun if they are real you will know when the time is right.
