DW. But, I believe Pearl is about to pass 'em up, with their new "Reference Series" of drums. Hybrid construction with combinations of different woods for each drum, according to pitch.

Mucho $$$$$$, but well woth the investment, I am told. I'm actually going to hear some next week.

I am sure that you'll get lots of different answers to this one. The drummers I've worked with have all said that the best drums around right now are DW drums. I worked with two drummers who had DW sets. Evidently, they are handmade in the US.

I like Yamaha percussion for Marching percussion, BUT I love Ludwig marching percussion...tough durable and teenage proof !!!!
