I ran into my ex yesterday. It has been more than 10 yrs since week were last together. I felt a lot of the same feelings that I had for this person. What is it?

It could be your lack of closure. Or it could also be that it just seemed normal to feel for him that way. Such as, when you spend 3 straight weeks with a lover, then you part for one day, you sometimes end up saying "come here sweety" to a friend, due to it was a usual routine thing. It could also just be sudden lust to have them back.

What you are feeling is nostalgia. You can't possibly feel the same thing for him, because in 10 years apart, you can't even be sure who he IS now! Think about how much you have changed in 10 years!

you didn't have the closure you needed. maybe talk to him again and get that closure. maybe you were still hoping for sumthing that wasn't gonna be.
