well you basically said i dont want to spend time with you outside of what we do now. so unless you explained that you got a ride from parents then you will need to ask him out or mention something about your parents having to pick you up and such. better if you ask him less confusion and he cant say yes unless you ask.

His feelings are probably still there. It is never really to forward to ask someone out. I once asked a man to marry me. The only way that you find out what is really going on is if you ask. Who knows he may still like you and something will happen or maybe he doesn't like you anymore, but you could go and hang out as friends and have a great time. Some of my best friends are guys that liked me in high school and never got to date me because I didn't feel the same way, but in a way they got something better. I am more open with them then I ever would have been in high school dating them and they are still around to hear my tales and ask me advice 5 or 6 years later. So go for it. There is really nothing to lose.

I would say that since you still talk just say something like, "Hey, do you want to go do something after school" Then just wait for a response. That is not really putting yourself out there, but opens the door. Good luck!

Yes, you can. He asked you out first, several times. So you can now return the favor. Don't forget to explain why you couldn't lunch with him before.

everyone has their rejection tolerance. looks like he reached his. if you wanted to go on a date with him you should have sent him some positive signals. like when he ask you, you could have said that you would really love to but someone was picking you up. i'm not sure what you said but he heard NO. i would explain to him what was going on and tell him that if he is still interested in going out with you, you would like to go out with him. that way you are not really asking him on a date you are just trying to get a misunderstanding cleared up. if he does ask you out remember it is the proper thing to do to have him come to your house to pick you up and meet your parents. if he is willing to do that he likes you a bunch.

Sure, ask him out and let him know the circumstances. Let him know he is considered a good friend and that you would like to get out for a hamburger or something with him. Nothing ventured, nothing gained

Yes, it's the liberal insanity of the day. Boy asks girl, not the other way around. Don't listen to the above.

Although I hate to say it, I think you shouldn't ask him out. I asked this guy out, and he said no and that I should NEVER ask a guy out again. My friends agreed with him, unfortunately. BUT, if you think you're absolutely sure he'll say yes, then ask him.
