There are key stroke monitors both hardware (like a smartcard/chip between the keyboard and the computer) and software type that runs in the background and records key strokes. Do a seach you'll find a bunch.

Who knows how to attach a bug to someone's computer? I would use superglue or scotch tape- but be careful, they may bite!!
