Just start making him pay his own way. If he doesn't like it, just remind him how much he could be paying if U did put him out.

Politely point out to him that he didnt refill the gas as you asked him to. That should bring up a conversation of responsibility and helping out around the house. Tell him its rough on you paying the rent on your own and your going to need him to pitch in a little to make ends meet. Just remember to be kind and polite all the time because nothing worst than family fighting.

You need to have a serious talk with your uncle. (not your Dad) He is an adult and needs to stop mooching off of you. Charge him rent and make him pay half for food, utilities and whatever else he uses (like gas). It is ridiculous that he gets a free ride. Once you start charging him, he may not stick around much longer.

Tell your Dad what's up with your Uncle. If Dad doesn't offer some cash, then go to your Uncle and tell him that he has to Anny-up some cash. Have it all set up how much you want. I would split every thing down the middle. Rent, food, utilities and no more using your car! He's got it on easy street. What's he going to do???? Get mad and move???

i'd give him one week to move out, then go for an eviction. he's not going to pay rent, because you told him to put gas in the car and he didn't. let your father know what you intend to do so that he can help his brother find another place. don't let your dad talk you out of it. his bro may have to go live with him, and then he will see what you went through with this deadbeat user.

kick his butt out. If he can do no wrong tell him to go live with your dad. People only take advantage of you when you let them. Put your foot down. Write up a contract stating what you want him to pay and that if he takes your car he is to return it with a full tank. If he will not pay then tell him you give him 30 days to get out. Stick to your word or he will just keep running over you.

1) Put down some ground rules. He needs to pay his share of the expenses.
2) Don't let him use your car any more unless he gives you money for gas up front. Evidently you can't trust him.
3) If he does not want to stick to your rules, show him the door, and change the locks so he can't come back.

Good Luck.

Maybe you could borrow your Dad's vehicle and not put gas in it. Then tell him that's what his brother does to you. He might feel differently about it, if he understood what you are dealing with.

He's not just a deadbeat, he's smart. I say this because he has never seen you put your foot down and he gets away with it. Lay down some rules, if he doesn't follow those rules then he gets OUT. Plus, if your Dad thinks he's so special why doesn't he live with him? Why is this your responsibility?

Why does he live with you? Do you need him? I think you should consider these things. Maybe just tell him that you can't afford to take care of him anymore. Maybe suggest to your Dad that he go live with him if your Pop gets upset at you.
