Here's how I make mine:
brown 1 lb h-burger, drain the fat, add 3 of the small cans tomato sauce, 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine, 1 small to medium onion, chopped fine, 1/2 to 1 green bell pepper, chopped, about 12 olives, sliced into rings, 1 Tablespoon Oregano, 2 Tablespoons Basil, 1 Tablespoon sugar, 3 glug-glugs of tabasco, let all simmer til the vegs get soft, pour over spaghetti. Yum.
what's a "glug-glug" ? It's when you tip the bottle up and pour, the air going back in the bottle goes "glug".

I usually make it with tomato sauce, tomato paste, stewed tomatos, mushrooms, olives, garlic, and a bay leaf for taste. Let it simmer for about a half hour.

stewed tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and garlic. And if you want to try something pretty tasty, add brown sugar and honey to taste. It is very addicting!
