No, friend Suleiman, there is some music that I wouldn't let a dog listen to, but some that lifts up your spirit. I've never met anyone who was not moved by Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy', the fourth movement of his ninth symphony.
There is music that is bad and music that is good for the soul. To put all music into a tidy box and say that it is 'bad' is worse than wrong. It is criminal. It doesn't matter what the religion.

I am not a muslim, but aren't there Sufi musicians and singers out there? Music does not corrupt you; music cultivates the human senses for finer things in life. Not everyone appreciates music. But as far as music being anti-religion, I wonder why would any body think like that?

stick to music that is not offensive,obscene,and the like. You can find all kinds of music from Muslim artists that will enlighten you.

No faith has tolorence for filthy music! Pre-maritial sex, hating authority, hating the laws of the land, THIS kind of 'music' is not tolerated in *any* religion!
The answer to your question is, no,.................classical, nature, love songs, instramental, and the like are all good kinds of music IF they're used in clean ways.
