If it's a the R model, it's a 2.0 liter.. If not it's a 1.6

That engine designation is GA16 or the more powerful SR20 the best method is the oil filter up on top of the drive belts SR20 or do you have to reach behind the motor to get to the oil filter GA16 either engine lasts a long time GA16 is 1,600cc 97.3 cubic inches bore 2.9" stroke 3.4" and has an out put around 120 hp the SR2.0 is 2,000cc and 121.9 cubic inches bore and stroke 3.38" and puts out 140 hp. EPA estimated mileage 2.0SR manual 23/32 auto 23/30 1.6GA 27/35 manual 26/33 auto.

If you open up the engine compartment, it should say right on the fan shroud how big your engine is. You can also check your owners manual. If you still can't find it, contact your local dealer. They should be able to help.

it should be on a tag either on the underside of the hood, or on the radiator top support, this tag should also give info like timing, and belt routing
