Since we've had the attempted terrorist attacks in England about a month ago will they perform the pat down searches on every passenger traveling through the air even if they don't set off the alarm more than once? If so would they use their hands to perform the pat down searches?

Usually if you set off the alarm they wand you first; then if there's any question they do a pat down with the back of the hand.

Sometimes people are selected at random for a pat down.

Yes, they use pat down searches. Sometimes use their hands but use the wand first.

It Depends, my sisters husband went off and they didnt even make him walk thru it again or use the wand, they stripped searched him, they made him take off all of his clothes except his boxers, and they checked everything right there in front of everybody. He was sooo po'ed but eventually they let him go..

Not on every passenger. But they will continue to select people at random for additional screening.

some on the back side of hand and other places are with open hand.
