narrowing of disk space and bone spurs in c5-c6 vertebrae
at age 40 - I read that it is partly from aging, but occurs much later, or also from repetitve motion such as computer, phone use etc.

your diagnosis is the result of the aging process. having a bulging disc from picking up something heavy at work is another story.
for example, I had a patient in his 60's with almost no cartilage in his knee saying it was from a work-related injury. this made no sense and I got a doctor to prove it. his condtion occurred over a long period of time not from one injury.

you can clain if the injury or illness is work related. If you were diagnosed with this prior to gaining employment & did not inform your employer, then unfortunatly you will have a hard time claiming. Seek advice from your lawyer or union delegate to see how far you can take your claim. It is hard to give you further advise as I am unaware of which country you are in but if you click on the following links, they will take you to the Australian Industrial Relations website & the Workcover site. Best of luck to you :o)

I believe for workers comp you have to prove that your injury happened solely from being on the job....that it happened while you were there and you recieved immediate treatment. Be sly and fish around with your HR department at work...and ask your doctor what they think.

Unfortunately though, it seems very unlikely. Good luck anyhow!

If the police have been stated as, there would desire to be a written checklist of it. Your pal has the the perfect option to get a replica of that checklist from the police. What the checklist says will carry different the burden. Assuming she has motorized automobile insurance, your pal would desire to allow her insurance enterprise corporation take care of the area. that's what she will pay insurance for.

You can file a workman's comp claim but getting it approved would be extremely difficult.

I would think you certainly could file a claim. It may not be approved, but you never know until you try.

I would try. I think all you have to show is that your condition is exacerbated by your job.
