I really hope they don't. Do they numb you're mouth at all during this process?

not nesicarily
it depends on how close your nerve is to the enamel of your tooth
i had the bottom of my teeth shaved and i didn't get numbed
i felt nothing
it tickled actually lol

Teeth are filed during Orthodontic treatment to make a little room if necessary. No shots are given, the procedure is virtually painless.

Nope, not unless you ask for it. It might bother your gums off and on during the process, but it's generally not worth getting a shot for.

When they shave of cavaties, they cannot inject anesthetic in your mouth to numb the process, you tooth does have nerves in though.
When they shave it, it sounds like a horn.

If you request no shot and can take the discomfort then I am sure they will let you.
