Well, at thirteen you aren't finished growing yet, so don't start fussing about your weight. Do you know what the BMI (Body Measure Index) is? Take your weight in pounds, divide it by your height in inches and multiply the result by 703.
The result gives you your BMI, which is an internationally accepted scale of healthy weight and mass.
If you are over 18 on the index, you're okay. If you are under 24 on the index, you're okay. Less than 18 and more than 24 means you need to do something about your body mass (like lose or gain weight). Interestingly enough some of the top fashion companies have said they will no longer hire models who have a BMI of less than 18 as the new look they are promoting is one of health and fitness.
So -- check your BMI, and if your results are between 18 and 24, relax.
Hope this helps.

Your diet and activity levels are key players here. For your age and gender you need about 2200 calories, however, if you are lets say a jock or very active you may need more because you are expending your energy faster than what you take in. Another thing you may try is a little weight bearing exercises which help build stronger bones and muscle-these things make a person appear heavier but in a healthier way. Try going to the following websites and get educated!

Hi, most girls/women would kill to be as thin as you. It's just a phase, believe me, your metabolism will change. I'll be you are cute as a button, so just accept and love yourself for what you have. Yes, that's a tough age, kids and teens make life miserable for their classmates, but just keep working on your self esteem. If you feel good about yourself, you won't be bothered by stupid comments made by your peers. You'll fill out a lot (probably more than you want, lol) in the next couple of years, so just be patient and don't do anything drastic. Good luck, good post.

You should do some very light weight training. You are only 13 so go easy. But you Will definitely gain weight and you will be stronger and sexier. My friend starting working out with me on weights. She's 5'2" and was 100 lbs when she started four months ago. She's now 112lbs and looks really good. She's all her clothes still fit, in fact they fit better and she's stronger.

Your in the growing stage of life, don't worry, you will get heavier as you get older.
I was in the same boat as you at your age. Believe me there is a time when you will wish that you could lose weight, so don't be in such a hurry!

Maybe you are burning more calories than you consume. Try snacking on and off all day. I have a similar problem, but it is my stomache. It hurts soooo bad when I eat.
