I am not doing any type of exercises presently.I got bac k pain problem also. What to do? Vans

I get out of bed and have coffee then I start work (I work at home) I try to walk at least 3 times a week for about 4 miles each time. I try to eat somewhat healthy but cheat alot and I drink every day, but I feel good and look good so I just enjoy my life and try to keep myself happy...

Go out for a walk....it's the best from of exercise, and usually will not bother your back if you have the proper shoes. I also have lower back problems and it's my best routine in the morning. Another great exercise is swimming if you have a pool. If not....just walk! Take Care and God Bless.

Stretch. Get off your duff and simply walk. Get out from in front of the tv, don't just watch the exercise shows, participate. Some movement is better than none. The key word-movement.

My wife is a physical therapist and she suggests going to your DR and having him referring you to a PT who can give you a personalized back exercise program for you. She also said that if your can tolerate laying on your stomach for 15 minutes a day that should alleviate some of the pain you have.

Before you get out of bed, do some stretches. It gets the blood going and your muscles lubricated.
