I died my hair a darker color than my natural color, but it's a little too maroon for my liking. In fact, it's very, VERY maroon. I died it this afternoon...is it possible to wash it out this soon after dying it? Are there any other solutions for getting rid of it other than dying it a different color?

Yes it is. I used to live with a hair stylist and when my hair didn't go the colour I had wanted he mixed 1/2 shampoo and 1/2 peroxide and I used it like a shampoo only leaving it on for a few minutes. Then I repeated until it was close to the starting colour.

I am a hair stylist and I would tell you that now matter what you try you need to remember that your hair is fragile. and you need to be careful...and you need to condition it alot.... and If you are looking to dye over it... green cancels out red, so if you want to remove some of the red, then get a ash color..... not a natural or golden.... those are in the reds,,,,,,

Yes they actually make a kit in the dye section of the store. I think they are always on the bottom shelf.
Good Luck
