I am Japanese.
"ャップジャバン" is impossible. I am afraid something is missing at the head of it. No Japanese word starts with small YA. There must be another letter there.

"ジャパン(JABAN)" is probably "ジャパン(JAPAN)"

hum?? Was that ギャップジャパン?(Gap Japan), which I don't know means though...

If only you copy&paste the original Japanese font correctly, I think I can give you a clue.

How many strokes was with the first letter? (excluding the double -dots)

Or pick up what you saw there from below:
アイウエオ
カキクケコ
サシスセソ
タチツテト
ナニヌネノ
ハヒフヘホ
マミムメモ
ヤイユエヨ
ワヰウヱヲ
