I don't know why, but this by far the best question I've ever seen here, and the answers make it even funnier.
Its always cute when someone is presented with an argument they cant defend without looking stupid but try anyway.
Especially when their response involves Bible verses.
I wish this were craigslist, so I could vote "best of..."

If you read the header, it says Religion and spirituality. It does not say uninformed and stupid. We, as Christians, are to spread the word wherever possible. And being a Christian, I like different viewpoints on some of the questions I have. Just because we are Christians, we don't have the answer to everything and the learning is an ongoing lifetime process.

We are here to spread Gospel and to communicate fellow Christians and also with other people.
Sometimes to answer stupid questions like this. We are not doing it for points.

I think it is because they are afraid...afraid of those of us in society who are not shaking in our boots because of words in a book. They are afraid that if they are not out in the world passing judgement and condemnation to hell then their beliefs will begin to die faster than they already are...they are trying to scare people into believing in god and they are also trying to scare people into showing them some respect. IMO
