I live in Houston, TX and have a friend who continually praises the Primanti's sandwich..I called the restaurant and they cannot FedEx one to me to try..so, just wondering if anyone has a similar recipe - I want to surprise my friend who is homesick...

It consists of a piece of grilled meat, cole slaw, a fried egg, tomato, lettuce and French fries between two pieces of Italian bread.

INGREDIENTS

2 slices Italian bread
5-6 slices ham, thin
2 slices provolone cheese
1/4 cup coleslaw
2 slices tomatoes
1 cup French fries, still warm
Mayonnaise

DIRECTIONS

1. Spread mayonnaise on bread.
2. Layer your choice of the above ingredients.
3. Serve on wax paper for authenticity.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound lean ground turkey
1-1 ½ teaspoons chili powder
⅓ cup Heinz Sweet Relish ®
⅓ cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup ®
12 ounces Heinz Homestyle Zesty Onion Gravy ®
6 sandwich buns
PREPARATION:
In large skillet, brown turkey, drain fat. Stir in chili powder then add gravy, ketchup and relish. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Serve on buns. Makes 6 servings.
