my selection is odd....1996 gt and cobra. i know everyone will say that the gt just has a truck engine in it and yes it was not nearly as quick and the ones before and after, but most importantly is showed where ford was going with these cars. I must say that i am truly impressed with the 4.6 as far as reliability goes and the amount of power that can be produced from a mere 281 cubic inches. and i would say as a side note the worst ones made were the 94-95 cobras, cause those things were just way to slow to bear the great cobra nameplate.

1965 Convertible with a 289.

Simply a fun car, without the uglification that happened from 1970 to 1993 or the ridiculous amounts of power that detracted from its other handling characterisitics. (Although the new 'stang looks like a 1970, I like it too). When you say classic mustang most people think of this car.

Worst Mustang? The Pinto Mustang!

1969 Fastback with a couple of Mach 1 modifications, well pretty much everything about that car is bad! I love all Mustangs cause I drive an 04 but if I have to choose a favorite that would be it.

I like the '68 or '69 Mustang. It's the same as what Mary Tyler Moore drove on her show. I like the big lights in the back and the '65 or '66 is too small.

I would have got to go with the 1966 fastback 2+2, Why? To be honest i think that it has a certain degree of elegance. Not to mention that the car has unlimited possibilities, in fact, i am jotting all this down as i am taking a break from installing a 427. I think that will make a nice improvment over the 289 it came with!!!!

1990-1993 foxbody 5.0 5sp

i actually prefer the notchback version. there is a huge aftermarket for these cars. bigger then any other form of mustang. most importantly is the 5.0 block stroke it to 347. trick flo0w offers factory cnc'd heads and full build up top end kits. not to mention all the other performance parts for the novice thats bolt on. steeda 5link rear ends, qa1 front suspensions, bbk, ttrick flow, granatelli, msd, cobra, ford racing all these to name a small few. now to mention it is a small and light car with a v8. in expensive, lol i could go on and on and on. BUT YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH ANY MUSTANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

congradulations!!! my fav is '89 lx. My husband and I had one. We did lots of mods. went low 12's. some one ran a red light and t-boned me. totaled the car. I like the model, because it had lots of room. it is fun to drive, and the 5.0 sounds great.
now we are building an '86 gt for me, and a '90 notch for him.
