I will start Patriot's Day by placing the American Flag up, outside my house. Then I will make the point of saying the Pledge to the flag in school, in a class when the teacher tells students to sit during the Pledge. I may share a tribute music video I put together, here on YA.

Apologies but I am not American. But we pray. Blessed are You, O Lord our G-d, King of the Universe. Master of the Universe hear the prayers of Your people soon and before long. Heavenly Father bless Your people with peace and sactify us by Your commandments. We beg You for peace in our world, in our nations and in our homes. We pray that the powerful will see the needs of the weak and work together with them for harmony instead, and exploit them not. Master remember for good those who have died and those who have gone to their fathers and those who lie in the dust. May Your face shine upon the dead. Those who have died in all sides of this horrific conflict and confort those who mourn. Amen.

I was actually on my knees this afternoon asking God to help all those who will wake up tomorrow with an ache in their heart because they are remembering someone who was lost five years ago when the Twin Towers fell. For those who have broken hearts, or hearts full of anger...may He take away that pain and replace it with His peace. I also ask that He forgive us our sins and place our feet on a righteous path before our God, in Jesus' name.

Um, I'll be going to school and making pottery and ugly sculpture, like I've been doing on Mondays for the last few weeks. I pray for peace all the time, not just on certain days.

I'm all for peace but it will take far more than prayer to achieve. We're going to have to get intelligent people in office for that to happen. We have a president we voted into office who we know is playing with less than half a deck.
God never intercedes to protect human life.

I will spend tomorrow drooling in school, freaking out about play tryouts, freezing during band practice, then overloaded at night with homework. Ah, Mondays. I hate them any day of the week.

I will be at work tomorrow which I feel is appropriate because I was there when the events occurred. I will do my remembering of those who were lost there.

Our company has requested we wear the colos red, white and blue and we will observe a moment of silence tomorrow morning in remembrance of those who lost their lives five years ago.
