I bought a car 2 years ago from an independant dealer. Apparently the car was a total re-build I had found out later when to register this vehicle. I failed my first safety test and had to put alot of money into it to pass after I had moved to another province, as it was already safetied before I moved, by the dealer. Now I am in another province and going through the same thing because my car is branded. I have to pay more money to get another structure test on it to prove it was safley re-built. Seeing this man sold me an unsafe car to begin with do I have a hope to get back from him what was to be done in the first place by him. Right now I am having problems getting it registered unless I have this certificate?

You most likely have no case after 2 years. By not taking action when you found out about the problem, you accepted the vehicle as it was. Two years later you will have a hard time making a claim.

In the future, have any car inspected by your own qualified mechanic prior to purchase!!!

you're precise to pursue the broking, yet criminal action would be a waste of a while contained in the top. particularly, assemble documentation from the different mech shops retaining that the seal substitute into replaced incorrectly. pass back to the broking and ask to talk to the chief. flippantly insist that the broking appropriate the blunders. are not getting nasty or no longer something will happen. in the event that they do no longer choose, say which you will pass the BBB. in the event that they nevertheless refuse, THEN say which you will pass to small claims court docket. (And desire which you by no potential actual do.)

Buy from carmax.com in the future.
Your only recourse is proving that the dealer bought a junk car with no title.
