Wait it out and see what happens and/or go with your gut instinct.
Maybe he needed to feel like he was going to be without you to realize that he really wants to be with you, or he only wants you as a back up.

It's hard to say. People never realize what they have until they lose it. That part is true. I think at this point he really does love you, but you're wondering if it will last. I don't know. But if going with another guy is what it takes to get him back, is he worth it? You have to make the decision.

what were u doing with another guy esp after a fight with your bf? that was a bad move anyhow he is not a kiss up and u should believe him why would you doubt that? you were the one with the other guy not the other way around.

I feel that it's up to you. Has this happened before? Is he worth your time? Meaning is he otherwise a good guy. Sometimes a second chance is the best chance, but tread the waters carefully.

No, dump him, if he isn't man enough to tell you that he was dumping you and came up with a lame excuse like that, then he is not good enough for you, he is not good enough to kiss the ground you walk on.
