My boyfriend's out of town. And its been 9 days since we talked. Everytime i call the place where he's staying, he's either sleeping, eating or not in. We had absolutely no arguments or fights before he left - so I'm very very sure he's not mad at me.

Ever heard of the saying out of sight out of mind? That's exactly what's happening here. He doesn't need to call his mommy and tell her he's OK! He will call when & and if he wants to! You don't want to hear this but it's the truth. When your guy doesn't call you--- because he's busy !!! busy not calling you! ---can't you read the writing on the wall? It's amazing how many girls & women believe that just because everyhting "seems" to be going ok in a realtionship they should ignore the signs that Mr. wonderful is not treating them so well. Guys don't have to be mad at their girlfreinds (or wives for that matter) to stray and cheat. Read the writing on the wall. Nine days..... isn't that more than a little inconsiderate? Of course he'll probably have a great excuse when he returns and tell you something like "baby I missed you soooo much. perhaps he'll shower you with a nice little gift, ( he probably bought out of guilt) to get you to forgive his cheating ways..then you'll have sex and he'll be good until the next business trip----- Read the book "He's just not that into you" by: Greg Behrendt & liz tucillo. Seriously, he's not calling you because he doesn't care about you for 9 whole days...what does that tell you? There are guys who call their girlfriends, (wives) several times a day in their VERY , very busy day..because it makes their day to hear their sweethearts voice . Your boyfreind is trying to tell you something by NOT CALLING !!! Can you get the message? Can you read the writing on the wall?

Because he doesn't want to show you his sensitive side . and make you think he's weak he's a guy they aren't suppose to show you there feelings.
But either he's supper busy or just needing some R&R away from his everyday life. and some guys don't think it's a big deal.. and wonder why we women call them even if it's for no reason. they have to have one.
Also my hubby is a truck driver so he's gone all the time . though he's getting better after 2yrs he's finally calling me every night to say good night or during the day cause he misses me. but for awhile it made coming home more special since he didn't hear or talk to me while away. even though it killed me to think maybe he's hiding something but . then that is when the ultimate test of Trust, Loyality, Honesty come to play not to mention comittment to each other and not to throw that all way for some cheap thrill.
give him the breathing room but also let him know that it would mean a lot to you to hear his voice or to have him say i love you or good day or good night once in awhile while he's gone especially if it helps to boost your self-esteem . and to know he does care.

Guys think differently about these things that most women. Im a 'call home every day and check in' kind of gal. My husband, on the other hand, isnt. He will call if something bad happens but he rarely calls just to say "all is well". Sometimes....but not as often as I would like!

HE's just being like all the rest of the guys out there. They get away and want to explore and see what else is out there. I am not saying that he is messing around in the wrong way, but you know he just wants to have his own time at least for a while. Once he gets bored and really misses you- he will be the one looking for you. He will be back, won't he? Then, you can play hard to get.

Girl, maybe he just wanted to take care of things first. Sometimes, guys just want to have whatever done before they talk to their significant others. It sounds weird, but my guy is like that too. Luckily, we have build a relationship where we both check in with each other everyday. If you trust him, then try not to worry about it. Keep yourself busy and dont let him think you worried about him even though you are. That way he will start appreciate talking to you more. Trust me. My best friend gave me this advise and it really worked! :)

I have been through this I would be concerned that maybe he is having a fling....9 days is a long time....a lot of men do cheat when away...how well do you know him? and its good to talk about it even though he might get angry at you for asking like my boyfriend did to me but I need to ask and feel like if I am going to be faithful he should as well....if not then he is not sincere and objectifies women....

Maybe perhaps he's just feeling the freedom of independence, and wants some time alone, without being disturbed? Remember as a teenager (maybe you still are one), and your
parents decided to go out of town on vacation for a week?
Remember how free you felt, not having anyone else around to tell you what to do, or to infringe on your freedom of choice? Maybe that's just it. Everyone needs time alone.

i know what u is saying cause my boyfriend went out of town and did not call call me so i went where he was at and found he was with another girl. So he is doing something he is should not be doing I am just saying what is on my mind but we don't know what he is doing so keep your head up girl.
