Well I'm in the auto business .... without a valid license & a good driving record. I would not be able to make an honest living.
Who would let me behind the wheel of a $50,000 vehicle ?

Having a driver's license gives you the freedom of transportation.

You can also use it as an acceptable picture ID for many different things.

You cannot own a driver`s license, driving is a privilege, not a right. It comes with great responsibility and can be taken away if laws and rules are not obeyed.

Good form of photo ID. I have been driving since the day I was allowed to by law. I love having the freedom of having my own vehicle but I take the bus when a car is not appropriate eg crowded events or where parking is difficult.
