no i am pretty sure you have to be laid off or fired without just cause to get unemployment

It would depend on the state you are in. Also, people say you cant get unemployment when you've been fired, but thats not true. Many times it depends on why your fired. If your not "cutting it", or "hitting your numbers", you can be fired and still get unemployment. I was fired once, filed for unemployment, was denied. Then I filed an appeal and won. They paid me all the back unemployment I was owed. It just depends.

no you cant...
only way you can get it...if you been at your job at least 6 months...then you can file for it....but just like any place else...if you get fired...they will fight you on the claim....so you may or may not win and get the unemployment
