When in doubt see a Doc! But seriously if you are still having PAINS four months after the procedure you should at least bring this to the surgeons attention! Peace!

I had my hysterectomy in 1992...
I still have times if I twist the wrong way I get a sharp pain from the site of the incision. I know it is scar tissue.
It may never go away entirely.
PS... Also, when they performed your hysterectomy depending on the location of the incision they may have had to cut through some nerves. At about 4 months you may be starting to experience some sensation where the nerve endings are reconnecting. With me the feeling was a burning-stinging sensation. IT lasted for quite some time. It is normal though.

Well, it is definitely a possibility. One of the complications of any surgery is adhensions. However, adhensions are usually seen in surgery to the digestive tract and rarely in the uterus. You should have had a follow-up appointment with your gynecologist after the surgery. Did you mentioned it to your doctor?
Hysterectomies require incisions to the abdominal muscles. Incisions to these muscles are extremely painful and might presist even weeks after the surgery - think about C-sections and how painful they are. But even so, 4 months is out of the normal range of time to continue to have pain. Best advice is to see your doctor.

You didn't say if you have been back to your Dr.
for a follow-up. If so, did you tell him about your pain? This should be number 1 priority.
If you don't tell him then he doesn't know and can't help you. Right?
GOD CREATED OUR BODIES SO THAT WE KNOW WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH US.LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.
I did search for an answer for you and there is a good web site you need to look up that will answer alot of your questions about your Hysterectomy and if you can have abrasions.
It is an organization called "HERS FOUNDATION".It stands for "HYSTERECTOMY
ALTERNATIVES AND AFTEREFFECTS" and it does talk all about having abrasions after a Hysterectomy. You can E-mail them at
hersfdn@earthlink.net I WISH YOU WELL!!

Yes, consider seeing a surgeon, they probably won't get better. Adhesions are very common after any abdominal surgery.
