Yep, but be careful. In adults, chickenpox are known as shingles. Very painful.

When I got hired @ my job and took a physical they told I had never had chicken pox I did"t even know it and that I needed to get vaccinated i am 37 now.

It is possible, but the probability is very low. There are people who won't get it till they are around 20 yrs old or even later. You will come accross it sooner or later. If not, then you won't get it. I got mine in elementary. I remember there was a girl in scholl with it and somebody pushed her into me. Next thing you know, I had the chicken pox.

Yes, very possible.
1) you got the vaccine
2) you were exposed to chickenpox, but didn't develop the symtomps and thus got naturally antibodies for it, and become immune to it.

I think so, although if you get them in your teen years and older, they are alot harder on you. Our kids have not had them yet, even though they have been exposed and we had them vaccinated, just in case they get them as an adult or even in their college years. They say the older you get the harder the recovery.

Yes it is however, you will be more prone to shingles when you get older. My great grandmother never contracted the chicken pox but when she got into her late 80's she continually had to seek treatment for shingles.

I am 51 and I have only been sick 3 days in my entire life. I have NEVER had a disease, just the one day flu 3 times. All glory to God.
