Iraq or US?

No Cutter - you're wrong. I'd be "disdaining" my husband then. I fully support what we're doing.

Point I'm trying to make is that Iraq has no qualms about gunning *anyone* down - nor using people as human shields.

Speaking as someone in Iraq at the moment, you're wrong.

You make no distinction when you say "Iraq" between terrorists and civilians, criminals and security forces. Iraqi civilians grieve for their families just as much as anyone else. Anyone who fought in the first push in 2003 can attest to how the Iraqis made every effort to recover their dead for proper burial immediately, within hours, if not the first two days.

You are confusing the tactics that criminal elements and foreign fighters use against groups they despise (keep in mind Iraq is an amalgam of several different religious affiliations and ethnic groups, all of whom have some sort of historic grievance with each other) with how the people or Iraq feel for their loved ones as a whole. Bear the difference in mind.

The question is in 10 years from now will the people of Iraq feel the same way about life as the American people feel about life now, I think this is one of our major objectives in Iraq now, Washing the Saddam brian washing out of the people in Iraq so they think more like Americans, its already happing with the normal Iraqie, the hard liners will fight to the death in the name of thier god and the world will be better off without them.

Let's put it this way Bin Laden said directly that the reason they will win is because te U.S. places too much value on life whereas the Muslim world values death. Pretty messed up huh?

Who cares more? Isn't that really a relevant question? Since I am Canadian, I would say the US. If I was Iraqi, then my answer would probably be Iraq.

That would have to be the people who DON'T blow themselves up to kill others or use planes as missiles to kill others.

That's the US.
